Well, we went from 45 degrees which seemed like t-shirt weather to about minus -2 degrees. Nasty cold snaps like this makes you want to crawl inside the wood stove and call it a day. All of our aspirations to clean out the barn and organize our process just went out the window. Yes, those drafty windows are to blame.
We have our seed order set to go! and the ads hit the newspapers this weekend. I cannot wait to see what kind of a response we will get.
Last week we went to a farmer’s market meeting. It was great to see the familiar faces that we tend to see throughout the summer. These people have become our surrogate weekend family members. It is hard to believe that the farmer’s market season is only about 16 weeks away. Oh my!!
